This kit comes with an improved motor that offers 40 more torque which has a stronger lock-out and a more solid feel. The linkage is zinc-plated cast that is stronger and more corrosion resistant then previous models. The spherical outer cage is brass which will extend the life and prevent it from becoming oblong. The control unit 9510 keeps the step open when the door is open and will allow the step to be lock in the extended position but not in the retracted position.
